Allegany Driving School has provided quality driver safety programs throughout Maryland since 1997. The school was founded in Cumberland, Maryland, and has evolved into a multi-county operation responsible for training nearly 3000 new drivers each year with more than 25 licensed, professional instructors.We offer a variety of services for students with special needs including: training with vehicle hand controls and left foot accelerator, courses for those experiencing age-related concerns, and others. All of our vehicles are equipped with dual brakes and mirrors; vehicles are MD inspected every year.At Allegany Driving School, we know any school is only as good as the instructors in the classroom and in the car– that’s why all of our instructors regularly complete professional development courses as well as undergo criminal background checks every two years.
