Safeway Driving School
Safeway Driving School is owned locally by Chip Hayssen and Jim and Cindy Thienes. Our 80 licensed instructors include many licensed school teachers and former law enforcement officers.
Safeway is dedicated to providing a professional level of service in both the classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction. Based on AAA’s “Learn to Drive” course, our curriculum has been reviewed and approved by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Our vehicles are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure safety. All our vehicles are white with uniform graphics to ensure a high level of safety and security.
