8 student maximum. Even if you’ve been riding for some time there’s always something new to learn or re-learn, especially if you are returning to the sport. Increasing numbers of seasoned riders are utilizing the six-hour BRC2 to hone their skills and fine-tune the mental skills needed for survival on the street. You’ll discuss with your peers how to balance the mental and physical aspects of safe riding, manage risk, increase visibility and optimize your lane position. The BRC2 also covers the importance of protective gear, rider responsibility, motorcycle inspection and care, and the effects of alcohol and other drugs on riding. Using your own motorcycle, you’ll put into practice the techniques of managing traction, stopping quickly, cornering and swerving.

We recommend that you complete the Updated Basic Rider Course (BRCU) on a scooter if that is your preferred two wheel transportation choice. You will prepare yourself for the obstacles and challenges of two wheels, and earn your license endorsement riding a scooter instead of a motorcycle! Scooters are not available at all locations. Attend the class at any location riding your own scooter.
