This package meets the mandatory minimum requirements set forth by the Secretary of State for teenage drivers. The package includes 30 hours of classroom instruction, (which breaks down into, fifteen (15) 2 hour classes). 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and 6 hours of mandatory in-car observations (each drive lasts a total of three (3) hours, 1.5 hours of driving, 1.5 hours of observing another teen drive).

This package includes the same classroom training as the basic package, but unlike the basic package, students choosing this option eliminate the need for observation by completing four (4) 1.5.. Read More

This package includes the same classroom training as the basic package, but unlike the basic package, students choosing this option eliminate the need for observation by completing four (4) 1.5 hour and one (1) 2 hour behind the wheel drives with an instructor (Total drive time 8 hrs). These are not private lessons. There may be other students in the car doing the observation portion of their package while the advanced student is driving.

This package includes mandatory minimum requirements, Plus all of the componets of the All- American Package PLUS an additional 4 hours of in-car instruction. (Six (6) 1.5 hr. drives and one (1) 1 hr. drive, total driving time 10 hrs.) These are not private lessons. There may be other students in the car doing the observation portion of their package while the advanced student is driving.
Adult 18-20 (State of Secretary Requirement) $100

American Defensive Driving School now offers the adult 18-20 year old six (6) hour classroom course. As of July 1st 2014, Illinois requires all 18, 19 or 20 year old's.. Read More

American Defensive Driving School now offers the adult 18-20 year old six (6) hour classroom course. As of July 1st 2014, Illinois requires all 18, 19 or 20 year old's that have not completed a 30 hour course to attend this class to obtain a license. This will be a six (6) hour course offered on Saturdays. ADULTS, CALL OUR OFFICE FOR THE NEXT CLASS SESSION OR TO SIGN UP.
