Description

What is Balda Driving School? We are a commercial driving school licensed by the Illinois Secretary of State. All of our programs and curriculum are approved by the Secretary of State. All of our instructors pass a background check and are tested and licensed by the Secretary of State. Licensed since 1959, Balda is downstate’s oldest driving school.

30 Hours of classroom instruction (15 - 2 hours classrooms). Textbook and classroom materials provided for in classroom use. Permit application ($20.00 fee paid to Secretary of State at time of testing). Upon completion each student will receive the Balda Completion Certificate for high school completion credit and your insurance discount (check with your insurance company). State issued Certificate of Completion for Drivers’ Education. Choice of Basic or Deluxe Behind-the-Wheel options.

Flexible lesson times to fit your schedule.

For students who already have a permit and have previously completed Behind-the-Wheel at their high school. Contact our office for necessary forms.
