At Blue Ridge Driving School, the goal of owners Gary and Linda Hutson is to provide each student with the necessary information and techniques to be safe, responsible drivers. We provide a friendly classroom environment that meets the needs of each students’ learning style, teaching them how to communicate effectively in a friendly classroom atmosphere as well as social settings.

I signed my daughter up for the drivers ed course and behind the wheel after emailing with the owners about the course to make sure it was the correct class for my daughter since the information on their website is very vague. I was assured that the drivers ed course would be for my daughter as she had not taken the written permit test and didn't have a permit yet. Fast forward 8 weeks and now the owner is telling me that she should have already taken the test and that this course that she just went through was for individuals who had failed the written test 3 times and if she had taken the test and failed the course would allow her to get her permit. I am beyond annoyed. I specifically contacted them and got an affirmative from them that this course was for students who had not taken their written permit test yet... Read More

When I brought up the fact that we had emailed about this prior to my signing up my daughter and paying, I was told "he gets a lot of emails" as if that is an excuse for lying about what the course is.
