30 Hours of Classroom Training 12 Hours Behind the Wheel Training 6 Hours Observation 2 Hour Parent Class Driver's Education Certificate Must be 15 years 9 Months old to begin Driver's Education

The Parent Class is a 2-Hour informational class required by the Registry of Motor Vehicles if the student is under the age of 18. The RMV and your professional driving school want to ensure students receive the full benefit of their educational experience. The RMV is changing its policy on the timing of your participation in the Parent Education class. It is expected that parents will attend a Parent Education early in the student's education process. Students will not be allowed to start on-road training and/or observations until this class has been completed.
