Destiny Truck Driving Academy was established in June of 2012. President and CEO, Doug Edwards has over 37 years of experience in the transportation industry. 2 0 of those years has been dedicated to truck driving schools and academics. Doug has provided his expertise for on the road CDL drivers and has been a training manager and/or director of both public and private truck driving academics.
Destiny Truck Driving Academy began partnership with Washington County Career Center in 2012. They expanded quickly into Belmont College and Daymar College in subsequent years as well as self-licensed in 2015. Currently, the Academy has evolved into over 300 students annually with opportunities for expansion. .
Destiny Truck Driving Academy conducts a 4 week or 8 weekend program. All students go through a DOT certified physical and drug screen program. All students must comprehend English in the written and verbal form. The students go through a high-level instruction and training in the classroom environment and maneuverability training in a professionally certified safe environment.
Customers or potential students are prospected through Job Fairs, Job and Family Services and Marketing Campaigns conducted in local communities by Destiny Truck Driving Academy
