Hickory Driving School offers six hours of hands-on driving lessons with a driving instructor. The six hours fulfill the New Jersey requirement to obtain the special learner’s permit. As a safety mechanism, all Hickory Driving School cars are equipped with dual-control braking systems. Depending on the student’s ability, the normal lessons consist of two, 3-hour driving lessons or three, 2-hour driving lessons. The learner’s permit will be validated if the student’s skills and time allow.

Hickory Driving School offers a driving test review. An instructor will pick up the student two hours before their scheduled driving test to review the requirements the student will need to fulfill in order to earn their driver’s license.
