The 5-hour class is mandatory to take before you can schedule your road test. It is set up to teach you important aspects of driving and safety behind the wheel. It is valid for 1 year and cannot be renewed, Please bring your glasses, if you wear them, as there are videos that are shown in class. At Image Driving School we offer the 5-hour classes multiple times per week, and we incorporate a preview of your road test that you won’t get anywhere else! The attached list represents the schedule for our 5 hour classes. This class is only for people who have a valid permit and are pursuing a driver’s license. All classes are based on availability. Although you can pre-pay for this class, we do not reserve seats. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start times below in order to sign up and pay the class fee.

establishing safe following distances driving with added loads and reacting safely. Defensive Driving Strategies — Shows you how to reduce the chance of an accident or injury. You’ll learn how to handle hazards, and respond to other drivers on the highway. Emergencies — Helps you identify common driving emergencies and take the right action. You’ll be able to take proper action in case of a collision, recover if you go off the road, and respond to mechanical malfunctions such as tire blow-outs, brake failure, skids, or power steering failure. Occupant Restraints and Protective Equipment — Explores the reasons for having and using safety belts, air bags, child seats, headrests, and motorcycle helmets. You’ll discover how safety restraints work and how they protect people in a collision. Special Skills for Difficult Driving Situations — Identifies special conditions that affect your driving and your vehicle’s performance. We will also review techniques for safe driving on expressways, in cities, and during bad weather.

Packages are based on # of lessons purchased, and can include the 5 hour class, the road test appointment & car for road test if requested.

All packages require a minimum of $90 deposit, and a “pay-as-U-go” program to make it more convenient and economical to be a safe & experienced driver.

$40 per lesson based on purchasing a 20 lesson complete package- individual lessons are $48 each for 45 minutes.

$40 additional charge ($60 total with road test appointment fee) for an early road test appointment (usually within 2 weeks) at either the Starrett City, Seaview, or Beverly Road road test sites. Must be available to accept any opening at any of the sites that open up (any time/any day).
