Our TRADITIONAL classroom is very similar to the options being offered from other area schools. We teach the same driving decision and concepts in both of our programs. This option gives you a set schedule for you and your teen to follow. You choose a set course series below after choosing your region.15 (2) Hour Sessions. Allowed to miss up to four (4) classes but must make them up.

Pulse Driving is a series of 12 online driver training modules automatically sent once a month. Each module takes 15 to 20 minutes and include a quiz at the end. By sending “bite-sized” chunks of information on a regular basis, the new driver increases defensive awareness and retains the online training longer. The platform has a personalized activities dashboard which shows progress, completed modules, overdue assessments and quiz scores. The Pulse Driving online driving course includes a complimentary subscription for the parent/guardian.

Joyce's Driving School is approved by the Illinois Secretary of State to conduct the Graduate to Safety Driver Remedial Education Course. The course teaches students to act responsibly and rationally in driving situations. The class is one of the state requirements for individuals to regain their license after suspension. We send all the students' records to the Secretary of State on the Monday or Tuesday after class. The Secretary of State reinstates your license when they have verified all the classroom data we have sent to them. Only for people under 25 years of age who had their license suspended.

Adults who have never got their license and want to learn how to drive Adults who have moved here from another country and wish to get their U.S. Driver's license Seniors who are nervous about driving Seniors who need a little confidence boost for their driver's exam.

This choice is to fulfill state BTW requirements for those students who have already taken the classroom portion of drivers education elsewhere and need to complete their behind the wheel requirements. BTW pick-up and drop off at joyce's driving school locations, and home/work locations within 5 miles of our facilities. The teens will be in cars with other students from our classrooms, and will complete six hours of driving plus six hours of observing, with another teen student. These lesson will be schedule as 6 2-hour drives with our certified instrcutors. Teen student must have a valid Illinois learners permit in order to sign up for this program.
