At MAIN STREET we provide high quality teen programs for 30 hours of classroom, 6 hours of behind the wheel, or combine them for our discounted teen package for $350.00. We have flexible programs conveniently located in Brooklyn park/Osseo and Anoka . Click on the location nearest to you to find class times and more.

Also at MAIN STREET are adult packages for ages 18 and up. Packages range from beginners to those preparing for their road test. Our experienced, patient instructors can guide you to success!

Phase I Thirty hours of classroom instruction. These three hour classes can be started any class day - see our schedule for Anoka. The Anoka classroom is located at 3716 7th Avenue North. See Anoka map. We are across the street from Anoka High School just south of 38th Avenue -next door to the Russian Grocery Store. To start, arrive 15 minutes before class begins to enroll. Preregistration is available but not required. Bring a notebook, something to write with, and at least $100.00 as a deposit toward the program fee. You can go ten days in a row, or pick the dates convenient for your schedule. Simply complete each of the ten modules to successfully complete the classroom program. If you completed class elsewhere we can provide behind the wheel -call or click for details. Phase II Six hours of behind the wheel instruction. Private, one on one lessons. We can pick you up at your home, school, wherever is convenient for you (within our service area). Our experienced instructors follow a structured in-car lesson plan that focuses on defensive driving using the most up to date techniques. Just call our office to schedule these two hour lessons at your convenience.

Teens who have completed classroom training at another driving school can complete the 6 hours of behind the wheel with this program. We can provide you with the "Blue Slip". Bring the letter of classroom completion, payment, parent & teen to enroll at either of our classroom locations during regular hours. Private, one on one lessons. We can pick you up at your home, school, or wherever is convenient for you (within our service area). Just call our office to schedule these two hour lessons at your convenience. Our experienced instructors follow a structured in-car lesson plan that focuses on defensive driving using the most up to date techniques. We currently offer a Ford Mustang, Toyota Prius, or Toyota Corolla for behind the wheel lessons. Payment plans are available. Our service area includes the cities of Andover, Anoka, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Ceder, Champlin, Crystal, Coon Rapids, Dayton, Ham Lake, Maple Grove, North Minneapolis, Oak Grove, Osseo, Plymouth, Ramsey, and Saint Francis.

Agree with the review below, if I could give a zero rating, I would. My daughter did the online version of the program and when we went to deliver all of her work/ notes etc., the individual at the physical location bit our heads off as we walked in and were rudely informed, we needed to come back at a certain time. My daughters first behind the wheel lesson, the instructor left her in the car to run into Walmart to buy some reader glasses for another individual for about 10 minutes and then again for an additional 25 minutes while dropping off to said individual. She is on Life360, so I was able to watch and follow her location at all times, watch her speed and see how long she was sitting in one location for. During this lesson they were Vaping (who does this?!) in the car with her, and she felt uncomfortable saying anything to them. (Yes, I did try to get her into a different program but unfortunately, I was not able to afford the additional expense). Her second appointment for behind the wheel was no showed by the driving instructor, resulting in us having to reschedule her exam at the DMV. Yes, they did make attempts to get her in on cancellations, but in doing this, they were reaching out to other students and asked them to reschedule their sessions (leaving us feeling very bad for the other students) rather than spending an extra two hours to get her second session in on their time since they were the ones who no showed. On the third and final behind the wheel lesson, the instructor was not aware that it was her third and final lesson as it was listed only as her second session. Due to this, there was zero parking / parallel parking practice aside from the 10 minutes in her first session. During her last two sessions, the instructor kept yelling at her and was generally unfriendly the entire time which made her even more nervous. Poor organization within the program and very poor behind the wheel experience overall would not recommend. Read Less

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Awful experience. We could not get an appointment for behind the wheel for MONTHS and DOUG yelled at my child and demanded contract fees FROM MY CHILD in the car at the start of the lesson. NOTHING was said to us about any fees, which were out of our control being they did not have availability. Lessons are not private as advertised, but with a car full of other children. One female instructor yelled at my child which caused huge anxiety about driving. I don't care if I lose my money at this point but I'm pulling my child out. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Disappointed in Main street driving school for their bad and greedy services. The own Dough is not transparent with behind the wheel schedules and will schedule you way out , this will cause you to pay $40 extra plus the $10 for gas each time because they said that you're pass the time limit to schedule. Not only that but our kid was at one of the scheduled behind the wheel appointment with the owner, and the owner never showed up. We called, text and left 3-4 voice mails. This was our last session so we needed it for our kid to take his driving's test. We decided to wait 30 minutes then called him one last time. Finally the OWNER , he picked up and had the nerve to say to us that he forgot the time and is on his way. Wait, so if we are late 15 minutes Main street charges an extra fee to reschedule and does but when the OWNER himself nothing happens. My kid did not get his full hour of driving that day either so disappointed. When our kid completed the driving hours, we were given a cheap paper slip copy of his completed hours, did not even look legit. We knew this because at the DMV they asked us for the original and not a paper copy. Main street driving school is the worst, they are not about good services but money only. We do not recommend this place to anyone. Read Less
