Behind the wheel instruction is the cornerstone of quality driver’s education. Students apply what they have learned in the classroom, driving laws and theory, and make immediate use of it behind the wheel of our instruction vehicle. Our behind the wheel curriculum meets the standards of the State of Texas and all instruction is completed in a State licensed vehicle for driving instruction. After payment is received by using the PayPal menu below, call the office that you want to schedule your driving session with. Be prepared to provide the following information Name, Date of Birth, Phone Number, Proof of "Learners Permit" Proof of "Classroom Completion" and provide your "PayPal Confirmation" information to verify payment. After receiving this information, the Rhodes representative will provide a calendar of availability and instruction for creating a schedule2drive.com account ($15 fee paid directly to schedule2drive.com). The calendar must be received by the office in order for the drive scheduling to begin. Drives will take approximately 3 - 6 months to complete.

Effective March 1, 2010, if you are applying for a driver’s license for the first time, you must take a six (6) hour driver education course. Rhodes Driving School provides Convenient evening and weekend classes at our two (2) locations. The required Department of Public Safety Exam Certificate of completion. The Adult Driver program at Rhodes Driving School is a State certified course. Call the location nearest to you for pricing and class dates.

It divided the requirements into two phases (Below) for those applicants under the age of 18. As long as you are between the ages of 14 and 17, you must enroll in a State Approved Driver Education program. Call the location nearest you to sign up for our next scheduled class! Our certified professional driving instructors will help you master the basics, learn defensive driving techniques, and prepare for the driving test. Our teen behind-the-wheel training covers everything on the driving test and all the situations you'll encounter on the road. Get one-on-one teen driving lessons tailored to your learning style. Call the Eckhert Location (210) 523-7483 that offers driving tests (non-commercial vehicles) for information and questions. (Class C licenses) only, NOT for commercial drivers. Both test included for the $65.00 fee. Pay the $65 fee via the PayPal button above. (All credit cards accepted, no PayPal account needed), then call the Eckhert location and schedule your appointment. Who can schedule a driving test? A teenager who has held a valid Texas learner license for six months and is at least 16 years of age OR An adult who has o Already applied for a driver license AND o Has passed the knowledge test.
