Nichole Gilley, our owner, began teaching driver’s ed over 12 years ago at Southlake Carroll Senior High School. She saw a need for a driving school throughout the school year for students, instead of just during the summer. Southlake Driving School officially opened for business on March 21, 2016. Currently we not only offer teen driver’s ed throughout the year, we also are licensed to administer DPS road tests and. We also offer, on a more restricted basis, adult private lessons during the weekdays.

Do not go to here to take your driving test. It was an absolutely horrible experience. Driving instructor Myra made me feel very uncomfortable and nervous while driving. She did not have a great attitude while driving with me. She even began to yell at me to "go now if you're going to go!" as I was pulling out onto the street. Overall was not a pleasant experience I was very stressed out while driving the rest of the way please do not come here it could've ended worse than it did when someone is yelling at you to hurry up. She could have caused an accident. Much rather would have went to the DPS if I wanted this experience. Very disappointed especially with all the good reviews this place has.
