The minimum class requirement for new drivers in Connecticut. This course is the fastest driver’s education course available and can be completed in either two 4-hour sessions or four 2-hour sessions. Most insurance carriers do not offer a discount for completion of this course. This course also includes all state requirements, including the Parent Class and Drug & Alcohol Class. This course will also cover the basic rules of the road.

This all-inclusive program is the best way to form a foundation of safe driving skills in a new driver that will stay with them forever. The course includes 30 hours of time in the classroom and 8 hours of private driving lessons. Our curriculum fulfills the state required parent class and drug & alcohol program, and then goes above and beyond. These classroom sessions work hand-in-hand with our Private Driving Lessons, where students are challenged to apply what they learn in the classroom in real world situations. The lessons are always one-on-one in our dual-controlled Driver’s Education specific cars. We will challenge the students’ abilities so that they are comfortable and confident when they get behind the wheel on their own. The Next Street is the easiest road to your license.

The Next Street Private Driving Lessons are 2-hour appointments where the student is in the driver's seat and a highly trained instructor is in the passenger seat. The lessons are all done in one of our dual controlled Driver Training cars. Private Driving Lessons include parking maneuvers, highway driving, city driving, defensive driving techniques, road scanning, or whatever specific skill you ask The Next Street driving instructor to help you with. We will challenge the students’ abilities so that they are comfortable and confident when they get behind the wheel on their own

This course fulfills all of the education requirements to get a Driver's License in CT. This course does not include any private driving lessons. Private driving lessons may be added to this course at the time of enrollment, or at any time before your license test. If you wish to do your Driving Test with The Next Street, you will have to purchase and complete a minimum of 2 hours private driving lessons prior to taking the test.
