Workforce Essentials Drivers Ed Program offers classes for all ages and skill levels. We offer Hourly Instruction for Those who just need to brush up on their driving skills. People who have recently moved from large cities that had ample public transportation. People who are new to the United States. Senior adults who would like one-on-one instruction to feel more confident behind the wheel.

Pass rigorous written and road tests administered by the State of Tennessee Department of Safety. Pass extensive Tennessee Bureau of Investigation background checks. Are courteous, patient, professional and experienced.

Workforce Essentials provides certified Drivers Ed Classes for drivers ages 15-20. The program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and six hours of behind-the-wheel drive time. Students will attend the classroom instruction either over four consecutive Saturdays or four weekdays during one week – school schedules permitting. Behind-the-wheel drive time is scheduled separately and will occur outside of the classroom hours.
